Two Americans, one British were killed, occupation restores back al-Kout, al-Sader warns his enemy Bush: Withdrawal or revolution

The Shiite Clergy Muqtada al-Sader yesterday called on his " enemy," the US President George Bush, to withdraw his forces from Iraq or to face a real revolution, at a time when the American occupation forces announced control of most areas of al-Kout quarters which said it will restore all of it today, while two Americans were killed in Baghdad in armed attacks.

In Friday's sermon which was read by one of his aides, Jaber al- Khafaji in al-Koufa mosque in front of hundreds of worshippers among his supporters, Muqtada al-Sader said "I address by words to my enemy Bush, if your allegation to launch the war against Iraq is Saddam and the mass destruction weapons, this is has gone and now you are fighting the whole people of Iraq." He added " I recommend you to withdraw immediately from Iraq, otherwise you will lose the elections you want and lose your people the same way you had lost other peoples.

Al-Sader explained "America is not facing a people's resistance, rather a real revolution," adding "In the beginning we pursued peaceful resistance, but the ( situation has changed ) after what the occupation forces had made against our people of operations of killings as if the peoples in front of them are not human beings. Rather their belittle peoples."

Al-Sader's assistant Hassan al-Haidari said that al-Sader decided to fast in protest of the military operations carried out by the occupation forces in the Iraqi cities. He added " al-Sader did not come to al-Koufa mosque because he is in a sit in because he had decided to fast as a reaction to the American massacres " in Iraq.

Al-Haidari added replying to a question on information which speak about the Spanish and American forces attack of al-Sader procession and preventing them from going to al-Koufa mosque to deliver Friday's sermon because he is in a sit-in in addition to that he had decided to fast as a reaction to the American massacre in Iraq.

Meantime, the American army announced the killing of two of its soldiers in Baghdad yesterday. It said that one of them was killed in an attack for Iraqi resistance men at an American tanks procession at the western entrance of the city and one Iraqi driver was killed in the same attack. The second was killed in a mortar explosion in Northern Baghdad.

A spokesman for the British foreign ofice said that one British was killed in Iraq, disclosing not his identity or the conditions of his killing. The British Sky news announced that the killed is called Michael Blouse, noting that he was killed in Baghdad where he was working for one American company.

Witnesses said that one shell fell at a sport club near Sheraton hotel in Baghdad where several foreign journalists stay, but no casualties were reported. Curfew was imposed in al-Fardous square which witnessed one year before the downing the sculpture of the toppled Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

In Musil, the governorate imposed a curfew while explosions were heard and a fire was exchanged between gunmen on the one hand and the American forces and the civil defense forces, on the other, especially in the areas of the right bank of the Tigris river which split the city. Witnesses said that gunmen attacked yesterday by shelling positions for the American forces in Musil. Three Iraqis were reported to be killed in these clashes.
